KeymasterFor those who’ve seen The Book of Mormon recently, is it still as side-splittingly funny as you remembered? Does its comedy hold up today or does it feel dated or over-the-top?

ParticipantThe Book of Mormon is still absolutely side-splittingly funny! Its humor is definitely bold and can be over-the-top, but that’s precisely what makes it so unique and memorable. While some of its jokes might push boundaries, the satire is incredibly clever, and it manages to be both irreverent and surprisingly heartwarming. The show’s creators, Trey Parker and Matt Stone (from South Park), have a distinct comedic style that translates perfectly to the stage. It’s a show that thrives on shock value and sharp wit, and it continues to resonate with audiences because it tackles big themes with a comedic lens. If you appreciate satirical humor and aren’t easily offended, it holds up incredibly well and is still one of the funniest shows in the West End.

ParticipantAgree with what Candice said. The Book of Mormon is still side-splittingly hilarious. Its irreverent satire and razor-sharp wit from Parker and Stone are as fresh as ever, even in 2025. You’ll laugh until you cry—and maybe cringe a bit, too. Worth every penny if bold, daring humour is your cup of tea.
