The Apollo Victoria is a huge Art Deco theatre, and while the staging of Wicked is spectacular, I’ve heard that some seats have restricted views of the dragon or upper-stage effects. The stalls are pricey, but is the dress circle actually better for the big set pieces? Would love to hear where’s the real sweet spot for value and view?

At the Apollo Victoria, the Dress Circle (Rows B–F) often provides the best value for Wicked. You get an elevated, panoramic view of the spectacle, especially for flying effects and aerial set pieces, without straining your neck, and the central positioning is stellar.

The rear Stalls—rows X to ZC—also give excellent, unobstructed views at lower prices and let you feel closer to the stage with fewer visual compromises.

      Bottom line being:

Dress Circle mid-section: Great all-around view and value.

Rear Stalls: Ideal for immersion at a reduced cost.
