I saw the Evita revival on TV. Wondering if it will it be worth seeing live at the Palladium this summer?

Yes, the Evita revival at the London Palladium is happening in summer 2025, running from 16 July to 31 August 2025. It’s being staged as a brand-new production directed by Jamie Lloyd, who’s known for giving classic musicals a stripped-back, modern and often more intense feel (he did similar things with Sunset Boulevard and Cyrano de Bergerac).

Compared to watching it on TV, the live version will almost certainly feel far more powerful: the Palladium itself is a huge, historic space, and Lloyd’s style tends to focus on making the audience feel the raw emotion of the show up close. If you enjoyed the broadcast, seeing it in person should be even more immersive, especially with the scale of the choreography, orchestra, and lighting.

Tickets are already on sale, with prices ranging widely (from around £25 in the upper circle to premium stalls over £150+), so it may be worth booking sooner rather than later if you’re keen.
